Tour Description

What could be better than an active morning of birding followed by an afternoon pub crawl? There's not a whole lot we can think of. On this adventure, Birding Man will take you to a Colorado State Park southwest of Denver where over 365 species of birds have been recorded! In the winter, one can regularly find Golden Eagle, Bald Eagle, Ferruginous Hawk, Northern Harrier, Rough-legged Hawk, Prairie Falcon, American Kestrel, along with a variety of interesting waterfowl and gulls. Throughout the tour, you'll learn about the altered hydrology of the area and why its proven to be an important stopover area for migratory shorebirds. After lunch, we'll check a few more spots for birds on our way over to a couple of our favorite microbreweries in town. Try some new beers and leave the driving up to us.  7 am - 2 pm Coffee, water, snacks, and lunch Included Transportation in a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Park entry fee included $250 per person/$400 for 2 people/$500 for 3 people/$550 for 4 people 5% of the proceeds from this tour go to support the Denver Audubon Society
