Do you want to explore the backcountry wilderness of Rocky Mountain National Park? Are you interested in finding wildlife and adding to your life list? This is the trip for you! Sometimes finding wildlife and specialty birds takes spending some time in the habitats where you are most likely to find them. Join Ryan and Angie for a backpacking adventure through Rocky Mountain National Park looking for some of this park’s most iconic species. We will look for elk, moose, mule deer, black bear, and bighorn sheep. Target birds will include white-tailed ptarmigan, dusky grouse, pine grosbeak, brown-capped rosy finch, American three-toed woodpecker, and Clark's Nutcracker.
