  • Can I cancel my tour?
Yes, as long as we are notified at least 48 hours prior to the tour.
  • Can I bring my dog?
As much as we love dogs, we unfortunately cannot accommodate your furry friends on our tours.
  • Do all tours include lunch?
Our half-day tours do not include lunch. For full-day tours, we provide water, coffee, sandwiches, fruit, and chips. Please notify us if you have any dietary restrictions or preferences.
  • How physically challenging will the tour be?
Most tours offer easy to moderate hiking. Our backpacking trips can be easy, moderate, or strenuous, depending on customer preference.
  • How long does the typical tour last?
    8 - 9 hours.
  • When and where do we meet?
If you are within the Denver Metro Area, we will pick you up and drop you off at your hotel. Otherwise, we can meet at Union Station in downtown Denver.
  • What should I bring with me?
We recommend wearing sunscreen and bringing a pair of sunglasses. Don't forget your binoculars and camera, although we can supply binoculars if you don't have them. Extra snacks and a water bottle are a good idea too.
  • What if the weather is really bad?
We generally proceed with tours unless the weather is extreme (i.e. lightning, frigid cold, hazardous road conditions). If a trip needs to be canceled because it is deemed unsafe, we will notify you as soon as possible and fully refund your payment (less any non-refundable costs that we may have already incurred).
  • What do you provide?
We can provide binoculars, snowshoes and/or spikes, hiking poles and for backpacking trips, tent, sleeping bag, sleeping mat, and backpack.
  • What should I wear?
We recommend layers to be prepared for a wide variety of weather. A rain jacket, sun hat, wool hat and gloves (in winter), and close-toed sturdy shoes are always a good idea.
  • What are your COVID-19 policies? Do I have to wear a mask while on the tour?
We follow state health guidelines. The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is no longer requiring that masks be worn on tours. Of course, you are welcome to wear a mask if you feel safest doing so.
